Ray Cashmere (born January 12, 1980 in Kogarah) is a professional rugby league player currently playing for Illawarra in the NSW Cup competition.[2]
He had gained a cult following in North Queensland for his particular brand of football, and held first grade positions for the North Queensland Cowboys (2007-08) in the NRL and the Salford City Reds (2009-11) in the European Super League.[3][4][1] before switching back to Australia for a stint with the NSW Cup team Illawarra.
